HAGERSTOWN, Md. – Having a warm sensation in your feet isn’t always a good thing. Doctors warn that a burning sensation within your feet could be linked to a serious medical condition.
According to Dr. Daniel Michaels, neuropathy, also known as hot feet, can be related to diabetic neuropathy or a nerve tissue.
He says nerve changes can cause burning sensations with the foot area.
Michaels says both type one and type two diabetes can produce this issue. This issue causes damage to nerves in the feet. Although having diabetes can produce this, other factors such as alcoholism and over exposure to medal can also cause this condition.
Fortunately Michaels says the condition can be treated with vitamins with no side effects or drug interactions.
